First year Fremantle player Blake Acres is pleasantly surprised about his first-year coach and the success they’ve had this year.

The Dockers have won six games so far this season under their new head coach, Justin Longmuir; they had one nine games in 2019, eight in 2018 and 2017, and just four games in 2016.

“It’s a bit of a shock to me how good the team’s gone this year, obviously would’ve like a few more wins.
“But with a new coach, you don’t expect to be this competitive, this quick,” Acres told 6PR Breakfast.
