Freo defeat Premiers

Fremantle have defeated the reigning Premiers by 16-points in a thrilling match at Domain Stadium on Saturday night.
After two disappointing losses to start the season, the desperate Dockers made six changes to the side and it paid off with Freo staying in the lead for a majority of the game for their 13.11 (89) to 10.13 (73) victory over the Western Bulldogs.
Michael Walters finished the game with three goals and all of them were stand-on-your-feet highlights along with a couple of impressive majors from Hayden Crozier.
Fremantle left everyone in shock by flying into the game with four unanswered goals to start the match before Lachie Hunter kicked a goal to get his Dogs on the board.
The Dockers kept their intensity up in the second quarter; Cam McCarthy became their first multiple goal-kicker with a major within the starting moments while the Dogs continued to play catch up.
But the Dogs turned the game around in the second half, Jason Johannisen put his Doggies in front for the first time after 18 minutes of play into the third term and they extended their lead to 14 points at the last break.
Marcus Adams was active in defence for the Dogs, but Fremantle took advantage of the few mistakes to kick for the lead in the fourth quarter and for the win.
