The WA Asthma Foundation announced this morning the Freeway Bike Hike has been cancelled, the news was broken by 6PR’s Breakfast program and the not-for-profit organisation confirmed the rumour.

Chief Operating Officer, Ian Craig, spoke with Simon Beaumont on the Afternoons show and said the event, which has run for eight years and had thousands of participants, cost too much money and they are hoping to create a different fundraising event.
