Entertainment reporter Peter Ford has weighed in on the rise in popularity of the Matildas, and the subsequent TV ratings of their semi-final loss night to England.

Ford said he “could not be less interested” if he was asked to watch the Matildas a month ago, but admits “he got into it”.

“The whole thing has been a win-win,” Ford told Millsy and Karl.
