They’ve sold like hotcakes in the US and are pretty much obligatory in Europe, but why aren’t bidets more of a thing here?

Well, as home renovations gear up and more people are looking for nifty ways to make their life more convenient, it may not be long before the bidet revolution hits WA.

Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of WA Murray Thomas told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast he’s seen the technology of and demand for bidets change rapidly over recent years.

“We’ve got these new toilet seats now that do everything – they heat up, they talk to you, they have blow-dryers… it’s pretty amazing,” Mr Thomas said.
