“There’s no cash”, Vince Colisimo famously said in 200’s Chopper. He’s now having to say the same in court.

After racking up $61,858 in unpaid fines, Mr Colisomo fronted Melbourne Magistrate’s Court and said he was too “financially destitute” to pay them off.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Millsy and Karl Mr Colosimo was “lucky” to escape any punishment.

“It seems extraordinary to me, and I would be fascinated to know if there are other stories of not-famous people in the real world who could get away with that,” Mr Ford said.
