The State Government will commit an extra $40 million to dealing with congestion across Perth in next week’s budget.

Known trouble-spots across the city will be targeted, with the money to be used to modifying intersections, upgrading road markings and changing traffic lights.

Transport Minister Dean Nalder told Gary Adshead the road improvements will work alongside the public transport system.
