The former McGowan Government and current Cook administration, has been found to have spent a significant amount on advertising campaigns.

Opposition Justice Spokesman Tjorn Sibma told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live, “The amount of money is absolutely mind-boggling.”

“There is legitimate grounds for a government to spend money on public information, but what I’ve seen over the last few years is it veering away from public information to being almost explicitly government propaganda.”

“There is absolutely no reason why the Labor Government needs to spend the amount of money it is currently spending of taxpayers money on it’s own propaganda,” Mr Sibma said.
