A report released by the Electric Vehicle Council has found that Electric Vehicles (EVs) are on track to more than double this year with more sold in the first half of 2023 than in all of 2022.

Manager of Policy at the Electric Vehicle Council Natalie Thompson spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“Year on year we do see the EV sales market share doubling.” Ms Thompson said.

“What is encouraging is that despite obvious challenges associated with the supply of EVs into the county due to inefficient policy standards, we know that consumers want to buy EVs.”
