Peter Ford has told 6PR Breakfast that Grace Tame, former Australian of the Year and activist has announced she has a new career on the horizon.

Fordy told Mark Gibson that the activist will be starting her new career as a stand-up comedian at the upcoming Melbourne International Comedy Festival during his Entertainment segment this morning.

“She’s highly intelligent,” he said.

“I’m imagining that her comedy is not going to involve the horrible serious subject that she’s so devoted to, which is about protecting children.”

Peter Ford also spoke to Mark Gibson about the latest in entertainment news, including:

  • The Hollywood slap a week after, and Will Smith’s career is falling apart
  • The odd wedding of Sophie Monk
  • Perth’s Johnny Ruffo stops the show on Dancing with the Stars

Press PLAY to hear this morning’s edition of Entertainment with Peter Ford and why Grace Tame is taking up a career in stand-up.
