Eagles Dominate Over Swans
The West Coast Eagles have shrugged off a late surge from the Sydney Swans after dominating for most of the game and taken out a 52-point win at Domain Stadium on Sunday, 15.13 (103) to 7.9 (51).
Lance Franklin was a late withdrawal for the Swans with a back injury and he was missed in the forward line as the Eagles left the Swans goalless until half way through the second quarter.
Sydney answered back kicking four unanswered goals in the final quarter, but the damage had already been done with Jack Darling kicking three goals and Mark LeCras with two majors.
Matt Priddis claimed best on ground with 34 disposals while the Swans’ Josh Kennedy clocked up 31.
