A Queensland academic believes penalties and fines, currently in place for mobile phone use in cars, are inadequate to reduce the number of people reaching for their phones while driving.

Professor Sharyn Rundle-Thiele believes there is a combination of factors that can change people’s behaviour, not just laws alone, and she spoke to Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show.
