Former WA Premier and former number one ticketholder at the Fremantle Football Club, Carmen Lawrence has served an 8000-strong petition to the Dockers calling on them to ditch Woodside as a sponsor.

Woodside has sponsored the Dockers since the 2010 season with the $2 million dollar current deal due to expire in October.

Ms Lawrence spoke with Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live.

“It may not be popular with everyone but it clearly is the right thing when we see what’s happening with climate change already having dramatic effects on human wellbeing.”
