Perth band Lash’s song “Take Me Away,” recorded in 2000, has experienced a second surge in popularity due to its inclusion in Freakier Friday, the sequel to Freaky Friday.

Lash guitarist Belinda Reid shared her excitement with Perth Today host Simon Beaumont about attending the premiere and meeting Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis.

“She just was like everybody else; she didn’t act like a big superstar, and she was really down to earth, and it was just so surreal meeting them in person,” Reid said of Jamie Lee Curtis.
