There’s been a spate of thefts at cemeteries around Perth.

70 thefts have occurred across several locations since the start of year including 46 at the Karrakatta Cemetery. Most recently a 71-year-old woman has her car stolen at Karrakatta as she visited her mothers grave.

Police have released CCTV images of persons they’d like to speak to over the stealing.

Det-Sen Sgt Darryl Cox says Local Policing Teams have increasing patrols throughout these areas.
