Adelaide’s caretaker coach Scott Camporeale says footy clubs can be the best place for support while going through adversity. 

Camporeale has the unenviable task of leading the Crows when they come to Perth against West Coast on Saturday night, just two days after the funeral of former coach Phil Walsh. 

The Adelaide players returned to training today only for a light run. 

Camporeale said Adelaide would allow players to travel with their partners or family members to ensure their wellbeing. 

‘In any adversity, (footy clubs) are the best places to be because you’re with your mates that you work with everyday towards a common goal,’ he said.
