Bolton’s baby Blues ready for next step

Carlton coach Brendon Bolton says his baby Blues are ready to take the next step with ‘team defence and ball movement.’

Carlton have started the season with four losses under first-year coach Bolton and play the only other winless team Fremantle at Domain this Sunday.

Speaking on 6PR’s Sports Today, Bolton said he is now pleased with the team’s effort, but it is time to move past that.

‘I said the effort’s there, but it’s now about not only effort but refining our team defence and ball movement,’ he said.

‘I think it’s probably typical of the amount of changes we’ve had that it’s taking a little bit of time.’
