It’s not just a policeman’s job, there’s plenty of other duties Senior Constable Neale McShane carries out including reading Ergon’s power meters, monitoring the heat and rain (not much) for the weather bureau, counting locusts for the federal government and clearing coins from Telstra phone boxes.

Queensland police have started a recruitment campaign to replace Constable McShane, but it’s not going to be easy.
