Australia Post to shed 1900 jobs over three years

Up to 1900 jobs will be axed at Australia Post following a 10 per cent drop in the number of mail being posted.

Staff have been told this morning that the company has reached tipping point and without reform the business is unsustainable.

Australia Post has set aside $190 million to pay for voluntary redundancies and says the job losses will be gradual.

Gary Adshead spoke with Licensed Post Office Group Chair Angela Cramp.
