Retired tennis legend Ash Barty and her partner Garry Kissick have announced the birth of son Hayden to the world.

The pair have been open about aspects of their personal life following Barty’s retirement, which has been warmly received by the public.

Entertainment guru Peter Ford told Mick and Gena on 6PR Breakfast it’s made the story even more fascinating.

“It’s so rare for someone who’s at the top of their game to say they think there’s other ways to find more happiness,” Mr Ford said.
