It’s a question that’s existed since 1999: are we all, in fact, living within an incredibly advanced computer simulation?

News stories have covered the arguably mind-blowing theory numerous times since the release of The Matrix, but University of Portsmouth Associate Professor of Physics Melvin Vopson believes he’s found new evidence to suggest it could be true.

“This new law of physics is so bizarre and so powerful at the same time, it does imply that this universe appears to be a simulated construct,” Professor Vopson told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast.
