West Coast coach Adam Simpson is committed to putting talk of his future aside for a few more days to properly celebrate retiring veterans Luke Shuey, Shannon Hurn and Nic Naitanui.

Speaking on Wide World of Sports during his regular Thursday night segment, Simpson wouldn’t speculate about his tenure at the club.

“This isn’t about me, we’ll worry about that next week.”

Instead, Simpson spoke with pride of the trio of champions who will bow out against the Crows on Saturday.

“I haven’t heard a bad word said about them.”

“To get them all in one era, I’m so lucky.”
