Blake Acres is in the mix to replace injured skipper, Nat Fyfe, when Fremantle go up against the Adelaide Crows on Sunday.

The team has their main training session today before the selection panel decides on the final team, and Acres is keen to get the boots on.

The former St Kilda player told 6PR Breakfast Fyfe is on the mend after injuring his hamstring late in the game against Gold Coast.

“He told me, it’s feeling pretty good, they’ll just keep reassessing him and hopefully we get him back soon.”
