Here is a story to warm your hearts this football season. Back in February, Nicola Hunter posted on Facebook in the hope of finding wheelchair access seats for her 94 year old Grandfather Walter who’s final wish it was to watch his beloved West Coast Eagles at the new Optus Stadium.

Enter Allied forklifts and a host of other 6PR listeners who came to the aid of Walter. Due to the generosity of our listeners Walter and his extended family of thirteen were able to attend the WCE vs Gold Coast Suns match in premium seating and door to door chartered vehicles on the day.

We followed you with Nicola after the weekends match who told us the experience according to Walter had “made his life”.
