A Perth digger’s hunt for lost service medals
Vernon Delgado spent Anzac Day with his mates in the City and at Swanbourne Barracks, but returned home without his medals.
75-year-old Mr Delgado spent more than 20 years in the services, including a stint with the SAS.
The ten missing service medals include a British General Service Medal, a Vietnam Campaign Medal and two Australian Active Service Medals.
Mr Delgado’s daughter Rebecca called Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show, to retrace her Dad’s movements on Anzac Day.
