Brave Eagles fall to dynamic Demons

Despite missing several key players through injury, West Coast have put up a strong fight against flag fancies Melbourne at Optus Stadium.
The Eagles stuck with the Demons for much of the first half to trail by 24-points at the main break, before a six goal to two third term saw the visitors run away with the contest, winning 19.12 (126) to 9.9 (63).
Tim Kelly was best on ground for the Eagles with 36 disposals and two goals, while Clayton Oliver led the Demons with 34 disposals.
Elliot Yeo played his first game of the season for the Eagles, collecting 12 disposals.
