The now-cancelled Perth Freight Link is still a considered a high priority project by Infrastructure Australia.

Infrastructure Australia CEO Phil Davies says the PFL sought to address two problems ? congestion and connectivity to Fremantle Port ? and he says those problems won’t go away just by cancelling the project.
