Two-time Super Rugby winning coach Dave Rennie will lead the Wallabies to the 2023 World Cup after being named Michael Cheika’s replacement as head coach.

Rugby Australia boss Raelene Castle says former coach Eddie Jones was sounded out, but the World Cup winner was firmly contracted with England.

Rennie says despite some interest from his beloved All Blacks – he had his mind set on the challenge with the green and gold.
