FSH staff shortage to be addressed
The head of embattled Fiona Stanley Hospital has denied a culture of bullying, but admits the new facility is short staffed.
The shortages have led to the cancellation of seven surgeries this week.
It’s been reported that an email leaked to the media has called for a crisis meeting, as doctors, nurses and other staff continue to air their grievances with the hospital in the public arena.
Premier Colin Barnett labelled those disgruntled staff as ‘grizzlers’ over the weekend.
But Dr Robyn Lawrence, Executive Director of FSH, has told Gary Adshead on the 6PR Morning Show that there is no crisis meeting, but the concerns of all staff will be addressed.
