Simpson: Who not where for West Coast

Facing the Western Bulldogs interstate is not a part of the West Coast Eagles psyche, according to coach Adam Simpson.

Much has been made in 2016 of West Coast’s poor record away from Domain Stadium with their first win on the road in six attempts against Port Adelaide a fortnight ago.

However, their last win in Melbourne came against Collingwood in round 16 last season.

‘I know the three games that we’ve lost this year have been really disappointing for the club, and our players and obviously our members and supporters,’ he said.

‘They’ve all been away and they’ve all been against really good sides.

‘We’re really looking forward to the challenge. The interstate stuff, that’s not part of our thinking, we’re just playing a bloody good side and we’re playing them interstate.’
