Shadow corrective services minister Adam Hort has criticised the state government for its lack of consultation with Bullsbrook residents, after the Department of Justice signed an $87,000 contract with architects to explore repurposing the Bullsbrook Centre for National Resilience.

Speaking with 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont, Hort said the state government is failing to communicate its intentions.

“They’re not taking the community on this journey. We’re not hearing anything from the minister, we’re not hearing anything from the government. I certainly feel for the people of Bullsbrook who must be wondering what on earth is going on,” he said.
