The dust has settled after what Michelle Reynolds refers to as her brutal sacking as City of Perth chief executive, yet she says she is still not 100 per cent clear on why she was dismissed.

Reynolds told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the process has not been fair to her, and she plans to request reinstatement until the local government inspector finishes his review.

“Oh my God, brutal. Yesterday I was thinking I was running on adrenaline, just the shock of it all. And today, the reality kicks in, and I’m just sitting here going, ‘Far out, this is brutal, and disproportionate to the matters that were put before me in a very serious way’”, Reynolds said.
