Volunteering Western Australia chair Craig Spencer told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that 78 per cent of people under 25 volunteer in some form, saying that while the value volunteers bring to the community is enormous, it is also highly beneficial for self-development.

“The economic, social and cultural value of volunteering to Western Australia is $63.9 billion. That’s a huge number”, Spencer said.
