With the surge in e-rideable popularity, WestCycle has taken the initiative to offer training for all ages, citing a significant need for better education on device usage.

In July, the organisation partnered with the City of Vincent to launch a one-off training program for residents.

WestCycle chief executive Wayne Bradshaw told 6PR Weekends host Chrissy Morrissy that senior Australians are increasingly enrolling in these sessions.

“The demographic is quite broad. We have some younger people who want to use it to commute to work and older people who just like to get around and use it as a form of transport,” he said.
