Poor driver behaviours are contributing to the ever-growing road toll, driving specialist Steve Banks says.

The operational safety and specialist driver training instructor told 6PR Drive host Jamie Burnett that Western Australia’s driving culture is poor and that drivers are passing these habits on to the next generation.

“As humans, we develop bad habits, and we adopt those bad habits. We’re always looking for a way to cheat. And that’s probably more devastating for our community, because some of those bad habits lead into poor decision-making”, he said.
