Four Shire of Gingin councillors have called for a special council meeting amid concerns regarding transparency over serious erosion in Lancelin.

Cr Lincoln Stewart told 6PR Mornings host Simon Beaumont that the council “should be as transparent as possible” about a meeting between Minister Jessica Stojkovski and the shire’s chief executive.

“I think councils and councillors should be as transparent as possible and I think we should be disclosing as much information as we can to the community instead of the bare minimum that we’re required to,” he said.
