Steel Magnolias premieres at His Majesty’s Theatre this Tuesday, with ensemble lead Lisa McCune joining 6PR Breakfast hosts Ian Blackley and Mick Colliss in the studio.

McCune says that adapting the beloved ’80s film for the stage results in a different experience every performance.

“When it’s live, I think that’s what we love about it too, because every audience is different every night. We do the same play every night but it’s kind of slightly different in a way every night … Stuff goes wrong, but I think that’s why we love it,” she said.
