He conceded the side’s low inside-50 efficiency is a major talking point at the Eagles Nest.

McCarthy told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl the midfield and defensive groups needed to improve.

“It’s probably us mids and backs that are kind of not giving the entries that we should,” he said.
