Wyllie described his time in the inaugural squad as an amazing experience, highlighting the tough conditions that forged the team’s identity.

“What we had to endure – no change rooms, no ovals – and for the success we had under Ron Alexander, it was just truly fantastic. I think it set the scene for what the West Coast Eagles were all about,” he said.
