A cat was discovered secretly stowing away on a container ship that arrived on WA shores from Malaysia, according to a report from 6PR listener ‘Here Kitty Kitty’ on Rumour Files.

The freight handling company confirmed the feline’s arrival but has not confirmed if it has been captured.

Amanda Bradfield from End to End Logistics explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that while finding a stowaway is not unusual, it is remarkable for the critter to survive.

“It gets really, really hot in those containers,” she said.
