Tania Doko, the lead singer of the ’90s Australian pop group Bachelor Girl, visited the 6PR studios during her whirlwind trip to Perth for the International Women in Music Day.

The pop legend spoke with 6PR Catchup host Russel Collett about the duo’s project to reimagine their ’90s hits in collaboration with Australian music legends.

This includes a track with Jessica Mauboy, who coincidentally used to busk Bachelor Girl songs in Darwin.

“Incredibly flattering and humbling and just tear-jerking to understand that my vocals had that impact on her,” she said.
