‘Uninhabitable’ Freo home sells for half a million dollars

We all know the property market is in crisis at the moment, but shelling out half a million dollars for a home you can’t live in might just be a bridge too far.

White House Property Partners’ Connie Handcock has done just that by selling what could be Perth’s worst home.

“Look, being Fremantle, nothing surprises me; this is next level though because of the rubbish that was on the property, which posed quite a few challenges,” Ms Handcock told Julie-Anne Sprague on Afternoons on 6pr.

There were 22 registered bidders for the Freo disaster home, however only six rocked up on the day of auction; the house sold for $508,000.
