Stronger online age verification required to reduce risk of child abuse

One in eight children have been coerced into producing child sexual abuse material remotely, prompting the eSafety Commissioner to call for stronger age verification processes online.

eSaftey Commissioner Julie Inman Grant spoke with Oliver Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live and said the commission has put forward an age verification roadmap to the Government.
