Australia’s favourite home renovation show is returning to screens this Sunday at 7pm, this time with a unique time-travelling twist.

As Gold Logie-winning host of The Block Scott Cam explained to Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfast, the opportunity to purchase and renovate five houses -all built in the 1950s and all in the same block – was too good to pass up.

“We just jumped on them, and we decided on the 50s theme because they look exactly like when they were built,” Mr Cam said.

“Now the competitors have to bring the properties into 2023.”
