Eagles captain Luke Shuey is hopeful he will return to the field this season, after suffering another hamstring injury against the Blues last weekend.

The 33-year-old told Adam Papalia on Wide World of Sports he’s targeting the round 22 derby as a possible return date.

“It would be nice to get up for the Derby,” Shuey said.

“That’s probably a stock standard turnaround for this type of hamstring….might as well give it a crack.”
