An 80-year-old grandmother has died alone from a suspected heart attack while waiting two-and-a-half hours for an ambulance to arrive.

“At first glance, this looks like the most egregious failure yet,” 6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker said of WA’s recent escalating ambulance ramping crisis.

“Paramedics found her on the couch, the television on, the front door unlocked.

“This is as bad as it gets.”
