Matt de Boer started his AFL career at the Freo Dockers as a tackling midfield/forward machine and played in Freo’s one and only Grand Final. He was de-listed by Fremantle but given a lifeline by the GWS and became an integral cog in the Giants midfield machine, especially in their 2019 campaign that saw the side make it to the big dance.
