Speaking to 6PR’s The Long Lunch host Tod Johnston, Perth Zoo senior reptile keeper Brendan McGill said Australian crocodiles are vulnerable.
“Freshwater crocodiles, because of the cane toads that have moved through northern Australia and had a pretty bad effect on our native wildlife, they’re considered vulnerable. Estuarine crocodiles are considered vulnerable as well,” he said.
