A group of ‘idiotic’ young men capsized their boat after trying to jump the wake of one of Dave’s Charters.

Water police were called to the scene, where luckily no one was hurt. However karma hit when their phones were donated to the Swan River.

Dave McDonald, Owner of Wild West Charters told Michael and Mick, filling in for Millsy and Karl, that the men were travelling behind him with six people on the roof of the boat.

“They went across my wake and the centre of gravity was too high and they just rolled over at full speed and into the river,” Mr McDonald said.

“I tried throwing them a life jacket each, they were more concerned about saving their shoes and phones but I think they were in shock.”
