WA Yabbie Farmers are riding a wave of new business as the humble yabbie is proving to be  a popular seafood option this Christmas. 

Owner of Cambinata Yabbies and third-generation yabbie farmer Mary Nenke told Julie-Anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons the demand for yabbies is on the rise.

“We’ve been in busy nearly 34-years and it’s grew like topsy,” Mrs Nenke said.
